Mercado Moderno: the house of design.
A pinch of history, lots of art and a bunch of boldness. From this mix, emerges Mercado Moderno, a gallery specialized in vintage design from the 50s to the 80s. The gallery is situated in a beautiful antique 2 storey building from the beginning of the 20th century, located at Lapa; a neighborhood where Rio de Janeiro’s culture and bohemians are present everywhere.
MEMO is pleased to receive design enthusiasts , architects, interior designers, and collectors in a cozy atmosphere. Here clients can walk freely across the many environments, appreciating not only the furniture, but also unique art pieces and objects that the owners have collected themselves on their trips around the world.
